Supporting parents with tailored strategies, we focus on empowering emotional wellness for the whole family. Specialising in anxiety, stress management, early toileting fears, parent-child relationships, pretend play skills, and fostering social connections, we help children develop confidence, emotional wellbeing, and essential social skills for life.
Therapy sessions are client focused and tailored to the individual needs of the child. The therapy journey begins with a parent only intake meeting, where we will have an opportunity to chat through any challenges or concerns, and hopes for play therapy. Following this a child play therapy assessment session will further support the play therapy session plan
The play therapy room is carefully considered to include toys and materials aimed to support social and emotional processing and allow the child (and family) to explore their wellbeing goals in a developmentally appropriate way. Play themes and goals are reflected on each session, this is further supports client focused practices
