EMDR & Play Therapy sessions can be really impactful way of helping you connect with your child to work through inner feelings, and process what might be challenging in your relationship. It is often really tough for children to express what's going on for them using words, and this is often why they find ways to communicate with us through their behaviour. This can feel scary and overwhelming for us as caregivers, who may just be needing things to become a little easier at home.
I also offer EMDR to children and adolescents - allowing young people to safely process their internal needs and worries meaningfully.
Play based CCPT and Interplay therapy support families in a safe space, where relationship is paramount. I offer you a space to connect, experience and make sense of parts of your world that may be challenging for you; and the opportunity to experience healing, form increased emotional resilience, and healthier ways of coping and relating to you and others.
I understand it can be overwheming when faced with how to support your little and loved ones, especially when big behaviours or feelings seem to be taking over at home. Our service promotes your child's most natural form of communication (play), through the use of toys. This supports feelings to be processed in a more indirect way, that can be so effective.
