I often use Family Play Therapy as a way to strengthen attachments between family members, but to also remove the focus from behaviours as "problematic". In that way, my work with young people and families is often described as relational, as opposed to behavioural; encouraging all family members to be part of a team to achieve the goals we set in our initial consultations.
