I come to the therapeutic space with a deep curiosity about life and the people I meet there, their stories, their lives, their relationships with others and most importantly with themselves. I join with you and guide you to discover the more hidden parts of yourself that you haven’t yet explored or have only touched on. Perhaps there’s a difficult or recurring issue from your personal or professional life that you would like to address. It could be grief, loss, depression, anxiety, addiction, dissociation, historical or current trauma, life transition, identity or relationship issues, or even existential questions and concerns.
I have been a trauma therapist and counsellor for 10 years and am Hakomi and EMDR trained. I have degrees in Social Work and Social Ecology. My approach is trauma-informed, strength-based, and includes attachment and polyvagal theories, Internal Family Systems (parts work) and is guided by the concepts of self-organisation and mind/body wisdom.
I bring passion, humour, presence, and thoughtfulness to my work. I am kind, caring and non-judgmental, and will hold your pain when you cannot, until you are able to do that for yourself. Until then I am committed to supporting you as you get to know your inner world and experience, as well as your strengths and resources.
