Scott is a general counsellor with specialties in health counselling and providing counselling to people in rural locations, farmers and their families and Men's health. If you or a loved are having health issues it can be overwhelming and take over 'you'. It can be difficult to talk to overburdened health professionals about your illness and the impact it has on you emotionally, physically and mentally. This is worse in a rural areas where difficulty accessing services and isolation can further impact upon your health. Scott can help you navigate through your problems and help you back to being 'you'.
Scott focuses on how your health is impacting upon 'you' and helps you to explore and understand what the illness means to you as a person. Scott will work with you to improve your current physical, mental and emotional health situation as much as possible. This may be in conjunction with your GP/specialist, or empowering you to create a better health plan.
