Hey, I'm Suzanne. I know that reaching out for that first appointment can feel daunting, and finding the right fit in a psych can be tricky. So let me make it a bit easier for you, by sharing a bit about me, and the kind of experience you can expect if you see me. When I sit down with someone, I make it a point to create a judgment-free zone. It's all about acceptance and genuine care. I want you to feel like you can open up about those deeply personal thoughts and feelings that maybe you've never shared before. I want you to feel truly heard and seen.

I practise Emotion-Focused Therapy. EFT delves into the emotions underlying your experiences. By exploring and processing emotions, we can address the problems that are in your way. Trauma is also a huge interest of mine. But whether you've experienced trauma or not, your emotional safety comes first. Therapy happens at your pace, you're in control.

So, when you’re ready, I'm here. Reach out so we can start getting you on track to where you want to be. Also, if you're trans, queer or more generally part of the LGBTQIA+ community, you're in good hands here. My practice is all about creating a space where everyone feels welcomed.
