What I offer is the result of many years of experiences, not necessarily welcome at the time, but they do turn out to be really worthwhile when working with people in distress, or people simply seeking change, or wanting a new (outlook on) life.
My 'speciality' would be; people who are new to therapy, and those not so new, looking for something different.
Raised in Gippsland, served in Vietnam, married, lived in Canada and in Adelaide, renovated our house, divorced, and completed my psych degree in my forties. I've worked in many roles and industries, from HR & academia, to shopkeeper and construction worker. So I bring lots of personal life experience, as well as a psychologist's view, to our conversations.
My strength from 15 years as a therapist would be ... with Men ,and with Women,
... and their relationships with men. Be they friends or family, colleagues or employers.
I can be very candid, and I take the approach that the work we do, which can be demanding, (but not always) is more about development than remedies.
