Stephanie is a Director and co-founder of Connected Minds Psychology, a Sessional Lecturer at Swinburne University, a Clinical Psychologist and a Board Approved Supervisor. She hopes to provide a safe and supportive environment for clients to identify what is really important to them and make steps to move toward living a happier, healthier and more meaningful life. This strengths-based approach helps to empower clients to use their individual qualities to overcome life's challenges.
Stephanie works with clients experiencing a range of mental health concerns and wellbeing challenges. She adopts a range of approaches depending on the client's individual needs, and has training in several therapeutic techniques including Mindfulness, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), EMDR and Schema Therapy.
Stephanie understands the importance of working with evidenced-based approaches and is committed to her professional development. She likes to foster a genuine therapeutic relationship with her clients that is built on respect, trust and empathy. She believes this therapeutic relationship to be vital in the recovery process.
