My work is for people who have faith and some knowledge and awareness of their interior life, but are stuck in the same cycles of relating to themselves and others in dysfunctional ways. This blocks them from having a deeper relationship with God, which leads to a lack of fulfillment and either being controlled by their emotions, or feeling numb. Because of this dynamic they are often not able to live their life according to God’s will.
What I do is provide a safe space to deepen their exploration of themselves, their relationships, and their connection to God. This is accomplished by integrating faith with psychological tools. This allows my clients to understand themselves better, honour their emotions, needs, and wants, and improve their relationships with God and others.
Change is scary and daunting as well as exhilarating and freeing but sometimes it can be tricky to move from one end of the spectrum to the other. I value greatly the vulnerability, strength and resilience that clients show. To witness the change process clients go through in their lives is not only an incredibly humbling experience but an honour.

My favorite way to work is using Focusing-Oriented Therapy, which has a foundation of being person-centered, incorporating existential and emotion-focused therapeutic elements. This way of working is explorative and experiential helping us to find the roots of the issue and transform those roots to more aligned ways of being with yourself, others, and God.
