About

I understand that you're a human being, just like the next person, who laughs as well as cries. Can be strong as well as scared. I don't believe therapy has to be all somber and heavy. Sometimes laughter and saying it like it is are the best medicine. My goal is to support people to access private, discreet, respectful counselling that doesn't require a GP referral. We'll spend time looking at the outcomes that you want, to understand what change looks like for you. Then we'll work on giving you practical skills and strategies so you feel in control and intentional about the decisions you make for yourself in the future.
I take a you-led, no fluff approach to counselling that is focused on what you want. Any steps and progress you make, big or small, is more than enough. I believe change should be attainable and manageable, and providing practical skills to stay on track is always my goal.
I have experienced first hand how the pressures of work, family and life can impact mental health and well-being. When you're struggling with an issue, the situation can feel heavy but the process to get to a solution doesn't have to be. I support people to get back to the place and person where they feel happiest.
