About

Welcome! My name's Stacey Roy (she/her) and I’m an Accredited Mental Health Social Worker who has been working in clinical mental health services for the past 15 years. It's my honour to journey alongside clients to build a life worth living, using a person-centred approach that prioritizes empathy, authenticity, and respect. I'm a Certified Dialectical Behaviour Therapy Practitioner and also have particular interests in Compassion-Focused Therapy and Somatic Psychotherapy. I often work with clients who have experienced complex trauma and other complex & persistent mental health concerns.
I’m passionate about integrative mental health care, which makes use of all safe, effective, and appropriate approaches to mental health care. I hold an Honours degree in Complementary Medicine and am a Registered Yoga Teacher, which supports me in widening my lens to serve clients’ holistic mental health care needs.
I work from an intersectional feminist perspective towards providing safe, affirming, and culturally competent care to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander, culturally and linguistically diverse, and LGBTIQA+ people and communities. I provide in-person consultations in Pennington, SA as well as telehealth consultations across Australia.
