Welcome. I’m Janine, a counsellor offering thoughtful, evidence-based support for individuals navigating change, distress, or a desire for deeper self-understanding. My approach is warm, collaborative, & grounded in deep respect for your pace, your story, and your strengths. With a collaborative and respectful approach, I draw from ACT, compassion-focussed therapy, & Polyvagal informed, nervous system-aware frameworks. My work is underpinned by the belief that healing does not require ‘fixing’ yourself—but rather, gently reconnecting with what matters most and learning to move toward it, one compassionate step at a time.
I work with individuals who are navigating life’s challenges— anxiety, trauma, relationship struggles, difficulty with self-worth, stress, neurodivergent experiences, sensory sensitivity, burnout or simply feeling stuck. Therapy is tailored to each clients’ unique needs, to help cultivate insight, self compassion, and practical strategies moving forward.
