My name is Sophie, a Sydney-based counsellor/psychotherapist living and working on Cammeraygal land. My pronouns are she/her. I work within a person-centred, integrative framework. Alongside my specialties, I have experience in working with issues such as relationship issues, self-esteem. anxiety, grief and loss and, disability. I feel incredibly privileged to be walking alongside individuals in their therapeutic journey.
I have worked across a wide range of issues, having worked in the EAP industry for the last three years. I have extensive expertise in domestic violence and narcissistic personality disorder. I also have had specialized training in perinatal counseling including postpartum depression and anxiety.
Sometimes the first step is the most difficult one. Reaching out for support can seem like an overwhelming and scary thing to do. However, I will be with you every step of the way, tailoring your support to you. You are in charge of your own journey, I am just here to help you put one foot in front of the other.
