Soph is passionate about helping people build lives that are rich and meaningful to them. Soph sees people aged 18+ and has special interest in working with clients experiencing all types of anxiety, mood problems, obsessions and compulsions, trauma, perinatal mental health issues, and psychosis.
Soph is an experienced practitioner of Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT). She combines this with techniques from Schema Therapy and compassion-based approaches. Soph is also a senior clinical psychologist at St Vincent’s Hospital mental health and a Board approved supervisor.
Soph's approach is authentic, non-judgmental, curious, compassionate, and warm. She helps clients build on their strengths, embrace their demons, discover and move towards what matters to them, and build fulfilling and meaningful lives.
