Hi, I’m Skye.
I’m a registered social worker and certified synergetic play therapist offering therapeutic support to children and their families as they navigate emotional, behavioural and relational challenges. I work with children aged 2.5 to 15, using developmentally attuned, play-based approaches that support children to make sense of their experiences, strengthen their inner resources, and build safe connections with themselves and others.
Parents often reach out when their child is struggling with anxiety, anger, big emotions, social difficulties, family changes, or after experiencing trauma, including family violence or sexual harm. Some children I work with have neurodivergent traits, learning challenges, or sensory and regulation difficulties.
My approach is collaborative, relational and informed by trauma, attachment and nervous system science. I hold space with curiosity and compassion, not to fix a child, but to get to know them, their world, and their experience, and support healing from the inside out.
