Hi I'm Sian (pronounced 'see-arn') and I'm currently offering counselling to individuals, online and in-person. My person-centred approach provides you with a warm, safe space to explore thoughts, feelings and behaviours. With a trauma-informed and strength-based approach I use validation, gentle challenging questions and psycho-education to support you and any life changes you may want to implement.
I hold a four year Bachelor of Psychology from UWA and Curtin, and a Master of Counselling from Murdoch. I currently work in community drug and alcohol counselling.
While I have experience with many mental health issues, I have a special interest in working with people in the arts community and the unique struggles they experience.
I'm currently offering Monday and Saturday afternoon online or in-person sessions. Please email me, introducing yourself and what you'd like to discuss. We can arrange a time for a brief phone call to see if we will be a good match for each other before making an appointment.
