I work with adults & couples dealing with anxiety, depression, PTSD & complex trauma, relationship difficulties, OCD and other emotional concerns. I approach therapy with a deep curiosity about you: how you see things like noone else. Depending on what brings you to therapy, we may explore how pivotal moments in life have shaped you, your beliefs, and your relationships, or we may look at practical ways you could bring about the changes you hope for. My aim is to provide a supportive space that helps you understand things more clearly, accept yourself more fully, and feel more capable of meeting life’s challenges.
In therapy, I strive to be fully present with you and create a warm, nurturing, collaborative space. While I tailor my approach to your needs, my way of working resonates with those seeking self-understanding and new ways of responding to life's challenges. My practice is mainly psychodynamic, drawing on EMDR, CBT, ACT, ERP & other modalities as needed.
I work with people from all walks. My own background (born in India, raised in Australia) has oriented me to how people navigate multiple worlds and identities. I invite exploration of race, gender, sexuality & culture as part of our work. I've taught & researched in psychology, and keep up with developments to ensure I stay evidence-based.
