I have over 20 years experience as a Psychologist working with children, adolescents and families. I support neurodivergence (e.g. ADHD, Autism, learning disorders etc), mental health concerns (e.g. anxiety, depression, emotional dysregulation) and social difficulties (e.g. social skill delay, low self esteem and self confidence). I believe in working holistically with families to offer support to children and parents, providing strategies and support to improve functioning, resilience and relationships. Families are welcome to access services using a Mental Health Care Plan, NDIS funding and private health insurance.
I offer support from a broad range of evidence based therapeutic interventions. These include Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Interpersonal Therapy, Solution Focused Therapy and parenting support using a Circle of Security approach. I prefer to work from a neuroaffirming perspective when supporting Neurodivergence.
Childhood and adolescence both come with their own unique set of challenges and triumphs. Navigating these periods of development can be equally challenging for children and parents and at times accessing support to ensure that we are offering the best kinds of support can positively impact family units as a whole.
