I primarily work with neurodivergent children, adolescents and their families to support them to understand their unique strengths and differences, to understand the challenges they are facing and to work collaboratively together to build skills, an understanding of themselves and to achieve their goals. I also support neurodivergent adults and families to understand themselves and their parenting. I believe in building strong rapport with my clients through my open, relaxed, down-to-earth and playful approach and ensuring that above all, my clients feel safe.
Much of my work focusses on supporting neurodiverse children and adolescents and their families, as well as adults, including; Autistic individuals, ADHDers, PDAers, children experiencing Tics or Tourettes, OCD, or other brain-style related differences. I also work with supporting individuals experiencing anxiety, depression and trauma.
It is always a challenge to feel different, or like no one understands what you are going through. I always endeavour to ensure that my clients feel safe and listened to, and advocate strongly on their behalf to ensure that their parents, schools and other care professionals also understand them and how best to support them.
