I am a registered psychologist dedicated to helping parents and caregivers enhance their relationships with their children by fostering collaborative problem-solving skills to address challenging behaviors at home. I utilise the evidence-based Collaborative and Proactive Solutions (CPS) approach, which involves working together with children to understand and solve the issues underlying challenging behaviors. Rather than viewing these behaviors as intentional, CPS sees them as signs of unmet needs or lagging skills. The CPS approach aims to foster connection, reduce conflict, and build problem solving skills.
Drawing from my own experience as a parent of two sensitive and sometimes challenging children, I aim to provide an empathetic and supportive environment to those facing similar difficulties. My calm demeanor and extensive background working with children of various ages and abilities enables me to connect with children thoughtfully and compassionately.
I also aim to provide neuro-affirming psychological services and I am passionate about supporting neurodivergent individuals, including those with Autistic, ADHD, and PDA profiles. I am currently accepting referrals for clients aged 6 to 14 and their caregivers.
