I work with women who childless not by choice, whether by infertility or circumstances. It’s an honour to meet you. I’m sorry for the circumstances that led you here. My hope is you can experience the care you need to heal your heart, reclaim your self-worth and craft a beautiful life now. This is offered, with the deep, heart-felt knowing, that comes from being a childless woman too. My personal story includes desiring motherhood, 10 years trying to conceive (including IVF), no children and many years healing without appropriate support. It was devastating, and I knew there must be other childless women just like me.
The Empty Cradle is a healing and support service for women transitioning to life without motherhood. This combines lived experience with over 35 years in counselling, group work, professional training and community education. You can access online counselling, mentoring; group programs; training & supervision; resources; and the power of loving community.
These tender, practical and evidence-based services are designed to help you heal your heart; feel confident & worthy; nurture connection & belonging; explore meaning, purpose & identity; and navigate the life transition from 'potential mother' to peace & thriving in your life now.
