Hello, I'm a Registered Psychologist. I frequently work with those experiencing worry, rumination, sleep difficulties, high stress and low mood. I also often work with children's behavioural issues and emotion regulation difficulties. My approach is warm, down-to-earth and collaborative. I value building a good rapport with my clients and enjoy the occasional moment of shared laughter. I support clients to better understand the drivers of their difficulties and utilise first-line evidence-based treatments.
Interventions often include looking at the way we process our emotions, manage our worries/negative thoughts and the behaviours. My role in public health focused on supporting parents of neurodivergent children with emotion regulation and behavioural difficulties using an attachment and behavioural approach that strengthens the parent-child relationship.
I have worked in public, private and university settings with a range of presentations including anxiety and depression, relationship issues, emotion dysregulation and adjustment issues, amongst others. My role in public health was focused on supporting parents of young neurodivergent children with emotion regulation and behavioural difficulties.
