My name is Ben Eames, and I founded Sanctuary Therapy Services out of a deep passion for helping people navigate the places where they feel stuck—whether in their personal lives or in their relationships. I work with both adults and teens facing a wide range of challenges, including depression, anxiety, burnout, stress, grief and loss, and addiction. I also help couples and families strengthen their connections—whether that means building deeper, more fulfilling relationships or working through difficult issues such as conflict, disconnection, or betrayal. My goal is to create a safe, supportive space for healing and growth.
All of my counselling is client-centred, collaborative, curious, and optimistic for the future. With individuals I primarily use Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and with relationships I use Emotionally-Focussed Therapy.
