Client-centred therapy is the backbone of my work. I endeavour to build a safe and non-judgemental therapy space for all of my clients. During times where the uproars of fast-paced lives have alienated us from our authentic selves, I hope to help my clients find more meaning and value in their everyday lives. As a mum myself, have experienced and grappled with the loss of identity and the colossal transition that often accompanies motherhood. I hope to provide a sacred space where I can help new moms catch up with themselves.
With over 15 years of experience in the healthcare sector, I have adopted a collaborative and holistic approach to therapy. I individualise my treatments to appreciate, and meet every client’s individual needs. I enjoy working with children, adults, and couples, and value the significance of the therapeutic relationship in encouraging a positive outcome.
I continually strive to learn, and expand on my knowledge in different areas, and I hold a strong interest in trauma-informed therapy, and the connection between addiction, mental health, and trauma. I value the benefits of counselling in finding the light at the end of the tunnel. My biggest hope is to live in a society that will one day be trauma informed.
