My name is Samantha, I'm an experienced counsellor and accredited Mental Health Social Worker. My work focuses on supporting adults who are feeling exhausted, stuck or overwhelmed by carrying the impacts of relational trauma and how it has shaped your relationship with yourself, others and your sense of safety in the world. Many clients I work with have experienced trauma in some form and are often burnt out by the demands of life in survival mode. I help clients to feel more grounded and connected, better understand their experiences and reduce feelings of shame and self-blame so they can live with greater ease and choice.
As a trauma and psychosexual counsellor, I support adults to process traumatic experiences and their ongoing impacts, including sex-based concerns, burnout, mood difficulties, addictive or unhelpful coping behaviours. My work is holistic and trauma-informed, helping clients understand themselves with greater compassion and context.
Trauma can affect many parts of life, including mental health, relationships, intimacy, identity, and overall wellbeing. Wherever you are in your journey, you don’t need to have it all worked out to begin. I offer a supportive, collaborative space to understand your experiences and support meaningful, sustainable change at your own pace.
