Prior to becoming a clinical psychologist , I was working as a school psychologist/school teacher and an acupuncturist . I specialise in supporting individuals with behavioural and relationship issues and assist these individuals to reach their full potential. I am also interested in working with individuals suffering from chronic pain and complex trauma especially childhood unresolved issues . I have experienced completing Court reports and assist with Worker or MVA Compensation.
I’m a fully registered Clinical Psychologist. I specialise in the management and treatment of complex trauma, chronic pain, anxiety disorders, depression, relationship/behavioural and academic difficulties . I have obtained my doctorate from UWA, and Master of Clinical Psychology . I’ve advance training in Clinical Hypnosis and EMDR.
As a Chinese-born Singaporean, trained in Chinese medicine and acupuncture, I integrate the East and the West and strongly advocate the use of mindful awareness. I utilise a combination of mindfulness, psychosensory therapy and clinical hypnosis in order to benefit many of my clients.
