Hi, I’m Missy - a registered play therapist, trauma‑informed clinical counsellor, and Level 2 IFS therapist. I specialise in complex cases and supporting kids with big behaviours, anxiety, grief, trauma, or social and emotional challenges. I also work with parents carrying their own childhood trauma and finding it hard to feel connected with their child.
Child‑Centered Play Therapy helps children aged 3–10 express feelings, build confidence, and process experiences in a safe, accepting space. I’m here to support your family toward greater calm, confidence, and connection.
I also offer the Safe and Sound Protocol (SSP), a gentle evidence‑based listening program developed for neurodiverse children and highly effective for traumatised children and adults. SSP supports regulation and connection, helping children engage more fully in play therapy and other therapeutic work.
Parenting can feel overwhelming at times, and reaching out for support is a strength. I work with the whole family system through child therapy, parent support, and parent therapy when needed, with the goal of strengthening the attachment bond so change lasts.
