At InnerMatters, we support children, teens, and adults navigating a range of emotions and challenges. You might be feeling stuck, anxious, burnt out, or carrying past experiences that still feel heavy, even if you aren't sure why. For some, it shows up as exhaustion, self-doubt, or the pressure to keep it all together. We also work with young people who may be struggling with big emotions, anxiety, low self-esteem, identity, or family dynamics. They are often feeling or experiencing more than they are able to express. Whether you're seeking support for yourself or your child, we provide a safe, understanding space to explore.

Available Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays in-person in North Adelaide or online.
I'm looking to connect with individuals who are on a journey of introspection, exploration and unpacking thoughts, feelings and experiences. We will be working towards long-lasting change where the root cause of an issue can be addressed and processed. Each treatment is uniquely tailored to your specific needs and thus the therapeutic style is non-manualised and not necessarily focused on reaching outcomes/end results, but rather on the process of therapy and its unfolding nature. Having said that, our process always aims to foster meaningful change and lasting outcomes.

I began ProMind Psychology because I couldn’t find a psychology practice that really sparked my sense of joy – lit my mojo! So I created my own! I've created a team of Psychology professionals who love being at ProMind Psychology, so I feel 100% sure you will too. Whatever challenges you’re facing, we want you to feel cared for and understood. We are here to help you connect with your inner wisdom and find a way forward.

I offer sessions in-person and online via video call, in a private comfortable space.
Do you feel like you keep ending up in the same place in relationships, patterns, or how you feel about yourself? You may give a lot to others yet feel depleted, unsure, or disconnected. Many of the women I work with are navigating change, shifting roles, or quietly asking, “What about me?” Together, we gently explore what sits beneath the surface, helping you reconnect with your needs, your voice, and begin shifting the patterns that have been keeping you stuck.

As a Mental Health Social Worker/psychotherapist, I believe healing is a journey—one that requires authenticity, patience, and connection to both ourselves and the world around us. Creating a genuine, compassionate space for clients is conducive to reaching individual therapy goals. Therapy isn’t just about skills; it’s about human connection and continual learning. Healing invites us to slow down, stay present, and trust the path—even when it’s winding or uncertain. If you’re seeking support or collaboration with someone who values honesty, growth, and deep connection, I may just be the right fit for you.

As a therapist who has undergone a significant amount of personal therapeutic work , I understand the need for warmth, acceptance and a therapists strong capacity to sit with discomfort. This is the foundation of a therapeutic relationship where people can show up with aspects of themselves that are problematic and unhelpful without judgement or pressure to be anything other than themselves. I can relate to very human, uncomfortable and undesirable behaviors, feelings and beliefs about ourselves. Through consistent support, compassion and curiosity, awareness and choice emerge, and change becomes possible.

FAQ - About In Person Therapy
What are the benefits of in-person therapy?
In-person therapy offers several benefits that some people find highly valuable for their mental health treatment. Being present in the same room as your therapist can create a stronger sense of connection and allow for more nuanced communication through body language. Some people may also find it easier to focus in therapy when they are in a dedicated space and away from potential distractions related to home or work; attending an in-person session provides a clear boundary between therapy time and the rest of your life. For certain therapeutic approaches, such as Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing (EMDR), exposure therapy, or somatic therapy, being in person may be particularly important, as these therapies benefit from the therapist being able to observe and respond to a client’s physical cues effectively. Additionally, some individuals simply feel more comfortable discussing sensitive or painful topics when they are face-to-face with their therapist rather than on a screen.

When should I choose in-person therapy over online therapy?
In-person therapy may be a better choice when you need a structured therapeutic environment separate from your daily life, when you find it difficult to focus or feel comfortable in an online setting, or when privacy at home is a concern. It may also be more appropriate if you are dealing with severe mental health symptoms that require close monitoring or if your therapy involves approaches that rely heavily on observing physical cues. On the other hand, if convenience, scheduling flexibility, or access to specialists outside your immediate area are priorities, online therapy may be a better fit. Many therapists offer both options, so you can also discuss with a provider which format might work best for your specific situation.

How do I find an in-person therapist?
You can use Psychology Today's therapist directory to find an in-person therapist in your area. You can search by location, insurance accepted, specialty areas, therapeutic approaches, and other criteria to narrow down providers who meet your needs. Each therapist profile includes information about their credentials, areas of expertise, and whether they offer in-person sessions. Once you have identified potential therapists, you can contact them directly through the directory to schedule an initial consultation and determine whether they are a good fit before committing to ongoing treatment. When reaching out, it can be helpful to confirm their availability for in-person appointments, their office location, and whether they accept your insurance.
