Many people I work with feel overwhelmed, trapped in their thoughts, or frustrated that their body and mind don’t seem to be cooperating, no matter how hard they try. You may seem like you’re coping from the outside but inside your mind can’t switch off. You may also be wondering whether therapy will help, or how to find the right support. It’s a lot, but you don’t have to do it alone. I specialise in supporting adults with anxiety, OCD, & trauma, as well as those navigating chronic pain/health conditions, autoimmune conditions, PMDD, endometriosis, or perinatal/postpartum challenges. Proudly neuro-affirming and LGBTQ+ inclusive.

Many of the men we work with aren’t in crisis. They’re capable, driven and doing well on paper. But something isn’t working. You might be shutting down in conflict, carrying quiet anger, feeling disconnected from your partner, or unsure who you are outside of work and responsibility. You want to show up better in your relationships, feel more steady in yourself, and stop repeating patterns you know aren’t working. You may have tried pushing through on your own. Now you’re ready for structured support that actually translates into real conversations, real decisions and real change.

I specialise in Women's Mental Health and Parenting/Relationship Struggles.
My ideal client is a woman who feels like she's lost herself in the midst of motherhood, relationships, responsibilities, or just trying to keep up with life. She might be snapping over little things, feeling guilty afterward, overwhelmed by the mental load, or grieving the version of herself that existed before children. Often, she's the one holding it together for everyone else but inside, she feels like she's running on empty. She wants to stop yelling, find time to do the things she loves, stop second-guessing everything, have a conversation with her partner that lasts longer than 5 seconds, and simply just, breathe!

Alongside my professional training, my lived experience as a parent and foster carer has deepened my understanding of trauma-informed care and attachment-related challenges.
With over 10 years of experience supporting young people and their families in schools and private practice settings, I am passionate about walking alongside children and adolescents as they navigate challenges with their mental and emotional health. I believe every person carries intrinsic worth and value, and I seek to create a safe and welcoming space where young people feel seen, heard, and understood. I recognise the deep connection between the mind and body, and I work collaboratively with young people to build insight, resilience, and healthy coping strategies.

It can be overwhelming and daunting to find a therapist who understands you, your story and your life. You don’t want the “cookie cutter”answers or quick fixes because it feeds into the dissatisfaction and feelings of being unheard.

Parenting Therapists
What does therapy for parenting look like?
Therapists may work with parents individually, together, or include the whole family to find solutions for the problems a parent faces. Many parent-based therapies work on a parent’s relationship with their children, problem-solving within the family, and analysis of family dynamics. Therapy conducted remotely by video may be helpful in allowing a therapist to observe how families interact in their own homes.

When should a parent seek therapy?
When behavioral problems begin to disrupt the healthy functioning of a family, it may be a good time to look into therapy. If parents find that children are acting out in school, have started using drugs or alcohol, have developed eating disorders, or other similar red flags, a therapist may be able to help.

How long does therapy take for parenting problems?
Depending on the severity of a family’s challenges and the type of treatment utilized, therapy for parenting can last from weeks to months. Cognitive behavioral therapy is a pragmatic therapy type that can be brief, most often ranging from between 5 and 20 sessions. Structural family therapy, which inspects family dynamics, often takes several months. Parent-child interaction therapy is typically shorter-term, lasting between 10 and 20 sessions. For any therapy, the duration will depend on the progress made and results realized.

Can therapy help parents dealing with burnout or stress?
Parenting is difficult. Parents may dismiss or conceal feelings of exhaustion, overwhelm, or escape ideation—imagining withdrawing from their parental obligations altogether. but left unattended, these feelings can have negative effects on the whole family. A therapist can help parents work on the skills they might need to better cope with the burdens of parenting and help them be the best parents they can be.
