Hi, I’m Rocio. I use she/her pronouns and live in Sydney NSW. I’m a therapist and clinical social worker that is passionate about supporting others to come closer to themselves and the world around them. I am interested in deep work, and I like working with people that are emotionally courageous.
I use a trauma-specialist lens to support people with depression, anxiety and stress, grief and loss, culture and migrant challenges, self-esteem and confidence worries and relationship difficulties , self-harm and suicidal thoughts, or life transitions.
I'm passionate about challenging the stigma surrounding mental health issues, radical self-care and use a HAES approach to health and wellbeing. I use a feminist framework for practice and my work is underpinned by ethics of social justice and appreciation of intersectional oppression and the pursuit of dignity in a world where this is lacking for many.
