Recovering from trauma, or any form of grief and loss, is no easy task. You need to make sense of your life, your past, your identity, and your relationships all over again. Finding support, and re-evaluating life after loss and trauma can be daunting, especially when people in your life may be contributing to these challenges. Living in a multicultural society also inevitably highlights the nuances of our conflicts. Only in a safe space can we then explore our deepest worries, our racing thoughts, distressing emotions, and spiritual concerns. Together, we can then understand ourselves, our traumas, our cultures & society better.
We know that difficult life events can transform us, for the better or the worse. I find that a culturally-sensitive holistic approach is very important when trying to understanding the mind, developing self-awareness & solutions, working through emotions & making sense of them. I can be the mental, emotional & even philosophical soundboard if you need.
