Big emotions and feeling out of control and shut down are all symptoms of a distressed nervous system. Or is anxiety, depression, anger, stress, shame, and/or sleeplessness affecting you? Adverse childhood experiences often result in symptoms of like the above and; flashbacks ,lack of capacity to remember parts of your child hood/adolescents/adulthood; or you may feel as though you are stuck in the past or in a constant fright, flight, freeze or fawn response. These symptoms are often related to complexed PTSD and are trauma responses, or perhaps you dissociate. With support you will recover. Do you have symptoms of ADHD?
Renée is thorough in treatment planning and ensures grounding and stabilisation. Renee then draws upon parts work and once protective parts are safe; interventions such as IFS, EMDR (Renee is EMDRAA accred) and Imagery Rescripting heal the trauma symptoms. Renee is also exp in ACT, DBT and Family Therapy. Renee facilitates a monthly Busselton ADHD group.
