I am a registered psychologist who is passionate about supporting people to heal from complex/developmental trauma experiences. I prioritise the therapeutic relationship and the relational health of the people I work with, and enjoy working with both children and adults. I am intentional in meeting people where they are at and deciding together where to go from there in therapy. I work primarily with complex trauma presentations, post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), dissociative disorders, intellectual disabilities, and attachment difficulties.
My approach is holistic and includes biofeedback (neurofeedback), Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing therapy, Deep Brain Reorienting (level 1 and 2 trained) , Safe and Sound Protocol, Neurosequential Model of Therapeutics, Dialectical Behaviour Therapy, and Cognitive Behaviour Therapy. I also complete trauma informed assessments and supervision.
I am mindful of the knowledge of the people I work with, and encourage them to be decision makers in tailoring how therapy looks for them. I value a sense of trust and connectedness in the therapeutic relationship to help work towards meaningful change for the people I work with.
