I am an accredited Counsellor who specialises in disadvantaged clients, disabled clients, adolescents, drug and alcohol, relationship and conflict, abused clients, addictions, mental health issues, grief and loss, acquired brain injury, marriage and financial issues. I am a specialist that offers counselling to support healing and recovery from refugee trauma.
My approach is to work with you, to identify what you wish to achieve from counselling, what you have tried in the past and to choose from a range of techniques which are suited to your specific needs and goals. My aim is to build a trusting relationship with you, which involves you in every step of the counselling process.
Through counselling with me you can learn to identify the thoughts, beliefs and behaviours which interfere with you being the person you want to be and develop strategies to manage your emotions and enhance your mental wellbeing. I am a bilingual Arabic speaker and my practice is sensitive to the needs of people from various ethnic backgrounds.
