About
In my private psychology practice I am working with adults who are experiencing anxiety, chronic pain, conflict, depression, stress and trauma. I am working with clients who are interested in a different way of relating to their experiences, and willing to taking steps between our sessions to practice and apply a particular way of being - being present. I am seeing individuals, couples and I am also offering group-based treatment (MBCT, MiCBT, MSC). It is very important that the client feels safe and connected to me as a clinician as this forms a secure base for working together and through difficulty.
I am a certified, recognized and specialized, Mindfulness and Compassion practitioner (MBCT, MiCBT, MSC). My therapy approach is based on Buddhist Psychology, Neuroplasticity, Mindfulness-Integrated CBT, Compassion-Focused Therapy and Positive Psychology. My way of working is focused on the Now with respect to the past and openness to the future.
We often are in a lot of pain (emotional, psychological, social) and just want it to go away. No one wants to suffer and therefore engages in strategies to avoid or resist. This often happens in a very subtle way and forms habits that don't serve us in the long run. The good news is - there is another way - towards acceptance of can/can't be changed.
