I offer holistic Psychology services for adults and teens with a wide range of mental health issues and life challenges. Living in a rural location myself, I understand how difficult it can be to access help. Therapy is offered via phone which enables me to assist clients anywhere in Australia. This ensures flexibility for people that have difficulty accessing appointments due to work and family commitments.
I aim to treat the whole person rather than focus on diagnosis and use a combination of therapies to add to your "toolkit" to find an approach that feels right for you. My goal is to shift the focus of what is "wrong" with you to what you CAN do. Psychologists use current treatment approaches that are supported by the latest scientific research.
I am a registered nurse and as a Health psychologist, I understand the 'mind-body connection' and how physical health impacts on peoples' mental health. I completed my Masters in Health Psychology at University of Adelaide and believe that my previous experience as a nurse has enhanced my understanding of many of the difficult issues that people face.
