I currently have availability for adults seeking EMDR therapy. EMDR is the primary focus of my practice, and I work with people who are looking for a structured, evidence-based approach to processing trauma, distressing life experiences, and longstanding patterns that may be keeping them stuck.
As an Accredited EMDR Practitioner, I work with adults experiencing the impacts of trauma. This may include trauma related to recent events, early life experiences, sexual assault, family violence, grief and loss, birth trauma, perinatal mental health difficulties, and OCD-related presentations.
My approach integrates EMDR with parts-based and attachment-informed frameworks, which I find particularly helpful when working with developmental and relational trauma.. Alongside EMDR, I draw on ACT, DBT, Polyvagal Theory, Narrative Therapy, and attachment-based approaches.
I bring a thoughtful and unhurried style to this work. EMDR done well is collaborative, and you're in the driver's seat throughout. Together, we work at a pace that feels safe and manageable while building the foundations needed for effective trauma processing.
