I have been in the field since 2018 and worked within both Private and Public sectors, before moving into more specialised work with a focus on Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT). This experience has allowed me to develop a broad scope of skills and an ability to support a wide range of clients and complex presentations. I have particular experience supporting clients with; Borderline Personality, depression, anxiety, low self-esteem, assertiveness training, trauma, domestic violence, work-related difficulties, interpersonal difficulties, sleep problems and emotional dysregulation.
I pride myself on creating a safe therapeutic space for people to be heard and understood. I emphasise client-driven goals. I use evidenced-based treatment such as; Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT), Mindfulness, Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction, DBT, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT).
I truly prioritise building a strong and trusting relationship with my clients. I believes it is highly important to maintain good rapport, where a person can feel recognised, heard, safe and understood. Therefore, all my interaction with my clients have this at the forefront of my mind. Your wellbeing is my priority.
