Situated across from the green expanse of Carlton Gardens and the Melbourne Museum, Rathdowne House is a dedicated space for psychoanalytic practice.
Our practitioners arrive from varied backgrounds across the therapeutic and clinical fields, many sharing a central anchor in Lacanian psychoanalysis. Beyond our differing paths, we are brought together by a common respect for the unconscious—a shared dedication to listening closely to the subtle, powerful forces that shape human life.
New patient or room rental enquiries are warmly welcomed.

I am a psychoanalyst working with adults and children. I offer support in times of crisis and long-term treatment to address sources of inner conflict, anxiety and distress. My work is grounded in the ethics, theory and practice established by Sigmund Freud and elucidated by Jacques Lacan. It recognises and seeks to articulate one’s singular subjectivity, beneath the identities and expectations we unknowingly adhere to.

I am a practising psychoanalyst working with adult and adolescent individuals and couples.
I seek to support those looking to resolve inner conflict and find positive change for their lives. You may want to move away from difficult emotional states like depression, anxiety, anger and loneliness or address repetitive and destructive behaviours such as substance abuse or sexual compulsion that are holding you back. You may also be overwhelmed by big transitions like bereavement, divorce or relocation and feel stuck, or unvalued, in your professional journey.
