I am passionate about working along side people, through art making and conversation, to work through trauma, understand themselves better or generally build a stronger sense of wellbeing in their lives. Regardless of your context, I will support you to guide your own therapeutic journey, checking in with your limits, cultural and spiritual ways of seeing and basic needs. Though art based therapeutic work I have witnessed the beautiful flourishing of individuals, families and communities.
This space is built around community, celebration and safety for POC and Queer people, couples and families.
Art is not a job, rather an inherent trait in all of us! I believe that it can help us find deep, safe & long lasting healing. My approach seeks wisdom from grounded anti-colonial practices that heal the soul as well as the mind and body. No one method works for all, together we can work out what is best for you as in or out of the box as that might be.
Art therapy is for anyone looking to strengthen their relationship to self and others through your inherent creative inner world. If you would like to begin or continue on with your healing journey please feel free to reach out. I offer a free initial phone call to see if we could be a good fit and to answer any questions you might have.
