Rachel made the move from the UK to the stunning Sunshine Coast in 2016 to complete her psychology training and immerse herself in the local community. Since then, she has worked across clinical, research, and community settings, supporting individuals from all walks of life with a diverse range of challenges.
Rachel is a warm, compassionate psychologist who believes that the therapeutic alliance is a key component of successful therapy. She brings creativity into her work and strives to offer a calm, safe, non-judgmental space where clients feel heard, supported, and empowered to work towards their goals.
Rachel supports adults (18+) with a broad range of concerns, and she has a particular passion for helping those navigating mood and anxiety disorders, low self-esteem, and experiences of grief and loss. Given her own trek from the UK, she also finds deep fulfilment in working with individuals adjusting to life transitions, including relocation and migration.
Rachel values the uniqueness of each client and tailors her approach using a blend of evidence-based therapies, including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), and Schema Therapy. Evening and telehealth appointments are available.
