I offer in-person and online sessions, with daytime and after-hours options.
Hi, I believe that regardless of where we are in life, we all need the right support around us as we move toward hope, healing, and growth. Life challenges, relationships, faith, grief, and leadership can all feel heavy when we carry them alone. You may be feeling stuck, disconnected, overwhelmed, unsure how to move forward, tired of holding everything together, or worn down by the constant voice of your inner self-critic. If this resonates with you, I would welcome the opportunity to connect through a free 10-minute introductory call to explore how we may be able to work together.

I offer in-person and telehealth therapy on weekdays, and weekends with flexible scheduling for children, adults, and students.
My approach is warm, relaxed, and down to earth, no judgment, just genuine care and practical support. I’m a generally registered psychologist who works with children, adolescents, and adults around concerns such as anxiety, depression, ADHD, self-harm, emotional regulation, stress, and major life transitions. I also work with neurodivergent individuals and those exploring their identity, strengths, and challenges in a world that doesn’t always make space for how their brains work.

I offer both in-person sessions at our great location in Mount Gravatt East, and Telehealth sessions (online via video or over the phone).
I work with adults who feel overwhelmed, stuck, or disconnected and want support to better understand themselves and their experiences. Many of my clients experience anxiety, depression, stress, or burnout, and come from diverse cultural backgrounds and/or are part of the LGBTIQA+ community. Some are navigating challenges with identity or sexuality, while others struggle with low self-esteem, emotional overwhelm, or unhelpful patterns of behaviour. Together, we work to understand these challenges, learn to cope, and build a stronger sense of self in a safe, inclusive, and non-judgemental space.

I offer sessions in-person or via telehealth and am available for sessions Monday to Wednesday.
Sometimes life is difficult. When things are difficult or there's a gap between what we want and what we have we feel discomfort or pain. It’s not a sign that there’s something wrong with you, it’s a part of being human and having a heart, it’s something that you share with every other person in the world (myself included!). That’s where therapy comes in. We work together as a team to understand the problem, learn and practice some new skills, explore your core values (what is important & meaningful to you) and experiment with some new ways of responding to your discomfort, in order to live a more meaningful, rich and full life.

FAQ - About In Person Therapy
What are the benefits of in-person therapy?
In-person therapy offers several benefits that some people find highly valuable for their mental health treatment. Being present in the same room as your therapist can create a stronger sense of connection and allow for more nuanced communication through body language. Some people may also find it easier to focus in therapy when they are in a dedicated space and away from potential distractions related to home or work; attending an in-person session provides a clear boundary between therapy time and the rest of your life. For certain therapeutic approaches, such as Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing (EMDR), exposure therapy, or somatic therapy, being in person may be particularly important, as these therapies benefit from the therapist being able to observe and respond to a client’s physical cues effectively. Additionally, some individuals simply feel more comfortable discussing sensitive or painful topics when they are face-to-face with their therapist rather than on a screen.

When should I choose in-person therapy over online therapy?
In-person therapy may be a better choice when you need a structured therapeutic environment separate from your daily life, when you find it difficult to focus or feel comfortable in an online setting, or when privacy at home is a concern. It may also be more appropriate if you are dealing with severe mental health symptoms that require close monitoring or if your therapy involves approaches that rely heavily on observing physical cues. On the other hand, if convenience, scheduling flexibility, or access to specialists outside your immediate area are priorities, online therapy may be a better fit. Many therapists offer both options, so you can also discuss with a provider which format might work best for your specific situation.

How do I find an in-person therapist?
You can use Psychology Today's therapist directory to find an in-person therapist in your area. You can search by location, insurance accepted, specialty areas, therapeutic approaches, and other criteria to narrow down providers who meet your needs. Each therapist profile includes information about their credentials, areas of expertise, and whether they offer in-person sessions. Once you have identified potential therapists, you can contact them directly through the directory to schedule an initial consultation and determine whether they are a good fit before committing to ongoing treatment. When reaching out, it can be helpful to confirm their availability for in-person appointments, their office location, and whether they accept your insurance.
