Often there’s a longer story underneath: patterns that formed early, a sense of self disrupted by illness, loss, or recovery, or a life that looks manageable from the outside but doesn’t feel that way from within.
PACFA-registered counsellor. Master’s in Counselling, background in nursing and AOD services. I draw on Schema Therapy, CBT, ACT, and Motivational Interviewing.
Sessions are collaborative and direct — starting with what’s actually driving the difficulty, working toward practical skills and insight to move differently.

I am a psychotherapist working with the Gestalt approach. I provide trauma-informed and body-positive therapy to preteens, teens and adults. My priority in working together is to co-create a safe and supportive space in which you are seen and deeply listened to, and to offer therapy that is relational, creative and present-focused. I also bring in embodied recovery (somatic) techniques which I find can be very helpful for building resilience and resetting the nervous system.

I help men get on top of anger, stress, and habits that have taken over the same way you'd fix anything properly: work out what's wrong, then fix it right, not patch it over. Think less therapist, more personal trainer: you do the work, I guide and keep you accountable. My approach draws on CAT and CBT, working a bit like detective work, mapping the pattern, tracing where it comes from, working out what's driving it. I'm a former tradie who had to get off the tools due to a disabillity. I am Online, Australia-wide, evenings and weekends. Mainly men, but anyone who's a good fit, including LGBTQIA+ clients, is welcome

Some things I work with include (but are not limited to): The neurodivergent experience; Sexuality, gender, and other queer issues; Bereavement, grief and other types of loss; Chronic health issues and disability; Trauma and complex trauma; DFV and other forms of abuse or violence; Relationship issues, including polyamory, sex and kink; Anxiety, depression, and suicidality.
As a social worker and psychotherapist, what matters most to me is creating a space where you feel truly seen, safe, and respected. I want our time together to feel like somewhere you can show up exactly as you are (no masks, no pressure), and know that’s more than enough. I really believe that the connection between therapist and client is at the heart of any meaningful growth, which is why I bring a warm, down-to-earth, and often humour and playful energy into my sessions.

We all crave to live in a world where we are more truly aligned with our heart and its deeper longing. We only find that world when we can honestly say we love ourselves, which in turn enables us to love others. What is it that prevents us loving our self? Lets journey in this enquiry together.

If you need help unpacking what the hell is going on. If you know you nearly have it worked out but for these things that keep getting in the way. If you think you are OK but it is all those pesky family, work mates, or colleagues who drive you nuts. If you have had more diagnoses than help, more good ideas flung your way than anything concrete, then perhaps you could pay me a visit. I pride myself in having no long-term clients because I do what I say, and I do not turn you into a professional therapy clients or perpetual victim of life. I get curious in why you have come, what you want for yourself, what success might look like.

I am a Gestalt psychotherapist and offer a warm and compassionate approach to therapy, working holistically and relationally with my clients and their life experiences. I provide a relaxed space of acceptance and non-judgment, and strive to offer trauma-informed, anti-oppressive and inclusive therapy, with a strong awareness of the systems of power and oppression that shape and impact our lives. I believe therapy is not one-size-fits-all, and see my primary role as working to truly understand your individual experience. I am guided by each individual’s goals and needs, and use an integrated experiential approach to therapy.

I work with all forms of grief and loss, including death, separation, identity shifts, adoption, and the often-unspoken impacts of abortion for both men and women.
I have a degree in counselling, a Graduate Certificate in Gestalt Therapy, and I’m currently deepening my practice with a master’s degree in Gestalt therapy. My approach? Warm, real, and free from psychobabble. I believe healing happens when we stop trying to “fix” ourselves and start understanding who we really are.

I work with people who sense there is more to healing than words alone. They may feel stuck, overwhelmed, anxious, disconnected, or unsure how to express what they’re carrying. They may be children, young people, or adults (including neurodiverse individuals) seeking a safe, creative, non-judgemental space. At heart, they want relief from emotional pain, greater self-understanding, and a deeper connection to themselves. Often, they are drawn to therapy because they are ready to invest in their wellbeing and are looking for a therapist who honours the whole person, mind, body, and spirit.

While I regularly support people navigating anxiety, depression, grief, and life stress, many also benefit from my additional experience with trauma (complex, developmental, and single-incident), codependency and boundaries, disordered eating and body image concerns, body symptoms lacking a medical explanation, and OCD/anxiety.
It’s important to find a therapist who feels like a good fit. You may get a lot out of our work if you struggle with assertiveness or establishing your own needs in relationships. You may be deeply attuned to others, overwhelmed and resentful, and stuck in patterns that no longer serve you. You may struggle with shame, boundaries, or building relationships that feel safe and reciprocal. If you’ve tried traditional talk therapy but felt that something was missing, somatic therapy might help you work through things in a more integrated way. If you want not only coping skills but genuine growth and change, you're in the right place.

Grief Therapists
How long does therapy take for grief?
There is no exact timeline for grief counseling. Some people may start to feel better after just a few sessions, while others may take months or longer to feel relief. Some specific approaches, including some types of CBT, may involve a set number of sessions, or therapy may be open-ended until the patient determines they are ready to wrap up. Just as there is no right or wrong way to grieve, there is no right or wrong way to seek therapy for grief.
When should you seek therapy for grief?
Many people mistakenly believe that their grief needs to be debilitating or all-encompassing to warrant therapy. This is not the case. While people who experience severe, prolonged grief—particularly those who are considering self-harm or engaging in unhealthy substance use—are especially likely to benefit from therapy, so too are people whose grief is less intense but still interfering with well-being or daily functioning. In practice, almost anyone struggling to process a loss could benefit from grief counseling.
Can grief be managed without therapy?
Oftentimes, yes. Grief is a near-universal part of being human, and many find that their grief, while profound, does not stop them from participating in day-to-day life and steadily eases over time without outside help. For others, however, the harsh pain of early grief persists for months or years or leaves them unable to function. This group is especially likely to benefit from seeing a therapist, who can guide them through their grief and help them reconnect with the world.
What happens if grief is left untreated?
Because grief does not in itself necessitate therapy, untreated grief will often resolve on its own. However, for some people—particularly those who would qualify for a diagnosis of prolonged grief disorder—untreated grief can be a source of seemingly endless pain or lead them to withdraw from the world. In such cases, treatment can be indispensable, as it can help an individual adapt to the loss and start living again.
