Gently we can point towards those deeper inner fears and open the heart so they can all be brought home without reliving events.
If you're looking at this site you're probably trying to find something or someone to help you move on from a difficult patch. We can't always change the world or others but we can always, by looking within, reframe circumstances so they more fully reflect a happier and brighter world. We all crave to live in a world where we are more truly aligned with our heart and its deeper longing. We only find that world when we can honestly say we love ourselves, which in turn enables us to love others. What is it that prevents us loving our self? Lets journey in this enquiry together.

Addiction, life transitions, and anxiety — often all at once.
I work with adults who feel stuck — people who’ve tried to change and found that knowing what to do hasn’t been enough. Often there’s a longer story underneath: patterns that formed early, a sense of self disrupted by illness, loss, or recovery, or a life that looks manageable from the outside but doesn’t feel that way from within.
I work particularly well with addiction and recovery, dual diagnosis, trauma, major life transitions, and questions of identity. I’m comfortable with complexity and with people who haven’t found other approaches helpful.

You're good at holding it together on the outside, but privately running on empty. You say yes when you mean no. You shrink yourself to keep the peace. You're exhausted by how much space other people's feelings take up in your head.
You might feel disconnected from who you actually are, stuck in patterns you can't quite name, or like something's off but you can't fully explain it. You're not in crisis. You're just tired of carrying so much.
You want to slow down, understand what's been getting in the way, and start making choices that actually feel like yours.

Anxiety Therapists
When should I seek treatment for anxiety?
Everyone feels anxious at times, but when anxiety causes disruption to your daily life, it may be time to seek help. Such disruption can be mental, physical, or both: having fear dominate your thoughts, avoiding situations or objects that bring on feelings of anxiety, or experiencing shortness of breath, sweating, dizziness, or panic attacks. When these symptoms are recurrent and distressing, it may be time to talk to someone.
What are the most common types of treatment for anxiety?
Talk therapy, particularly cognitive behavioural therapy, is the most common treatment for anxiety. Studies have shown it is equally effective as medication. Other forms of therapy are popular, depending on a patient’s experience. Exposure therapy, for instance, can be useful for people dealing with fears and phobias, or who have experienced traumatic events. Dialectical Behavioural Therapy may be useful for patients who need help with emotion regulation. Anxiolytic medications, like benzodiazepines, can also help with calming a person enough to focus on the skills they’ve learned, and physical exercise has been shown to help symptoms of anxiety across the board.
How long does therapy for anxiety take to work?
The amount of time needed to alleviate symptoms depends on the severity of a person’s condition. Some therapies may take 5-20 weekly sessions to show results. Anti-depressant medications typically take two to four weeks before a benefit is felt. Anti-anxiety medications are felt typically within 20-30 minutes. Medications are best used to offer a patient a better headspace in which to work on techniques learned in therapy. Exercise, improved sleep habits, and meditation are effective, but takes weeks or months to show results.
How effective is treatment for anxiety?
Treatment for anxiety has been shown to be moderately to highly effective, according to a large body of psychology studies and analyses. For some people, treatment using CBT or exposure therapy alone is effective. Others respond best to a combination of medication and therapy.
