The people I support often identify as LGBTIAQ+ and are also neurodivergent and/or have experienced various forms of trauma and family violence. I am also fiercely sex and sex-worker positive! My name is Jodie (they/she), I'm an experienced Alcohol & Other Drug (AOD) and Family Violence Counsellor, based in Melbourne and Ballarat on unceded Wurundjeri and Wadawurrung lands.
My specialist training is in safely processing trauma - I offer a warm and direct feminist, anti-oppressive and liberatory counselling space, with regular neurodivergent-affirming practice trainings. I can offer EMDR therapy, ACT & IFS/ego/parts work. Sessions take place on weekday evenings (zoom/in-person) or on Wednesdays (zoom).
