Kat has been passionate about supporting adults and children with neurodiversity since 2007. She has specialized in assessment and intervention for individuals with ASD, ADHD, Specific Learning Disability, Intellectual Disability, giftedness, and developmental differences. She is a warm and collaborative clinician with an evidence based and neurodiverse affirming approach to supporting children, adolescents, and adults to reach their individual goals.

I enjoy working with people from all walks of life, backgrounds and cultures. I am passionate about supporting and empowering clients during challenging and difficult times in their lives. My aim is to help them reach their full potential with guidance and problem solving skills tailored to suit each individual. I take an integrative approach to treatment and aim to foster a genuine therapeutic relationship where we can work collaboratively together. There is no issue that is too small and every client's concern is given unconditional positive regard and respect.

Nadine is a devoted practitioner, specializing in assessment and intervention for adults and children with neurodiversity, ADHD, Autism, anxiety, learning and emotional difficulties. For over 15 years, she has been committed to supporting clients to develop skills, greater independence and confidence, encompassing a growth mindset approach. Nadine understands the nutritional gut-brain connection and how lifestyle can positively impact one’s mental health and quality of life. She promotes a collaborate, safe environment, with a listening ear and support for life’s challenges.

Trauma is something that affects many people and for some it is debilitating: insomnia, triggers, social anxiety, loss of confidence, relationship issues, life meaning, self-worth, etc. You've lived with it for so long, but just imagine the possibility of sharing the burden, gaining understanding, and feeling freedom as you're released from it. I am here to understand you, to listen respectfully, and to assist in finding what's right for you.

At Laburnum Psychology we have sixteen psychologists. Due to the diversity in our team, we are well positioned to find the right person for you. We specialise across a broad range of issues, including depression, anxiety, life adjustment, trauma and children's issues, relationships, stress, work stress, to name a few. We can conduct cognitive, educational and developmental assessments & reports. We have psychologists who work with children and adolescents, as well as people who work with adults and the elderly. We can also work under NDIS, TAC and WorkCover funded arrangements. We are linked to most health insurance schemes.

Do you or your young person need support with your mental health and wellbeing? I work closely with individuals who are struggling with anxiety, traumatic stress, self-esteem issues and other life transitions.

I enjoy working with young people (12-17 years old) and adults (18+). I believe in the healing benefits of the therapeutic relationship and the mind’s ability to recover. I am interested in establishing and maintaining a therapeutic alliance with my clients, while utilising compassion focused interpersonal (IPT), cognitive behaviour (CBT), and dialectical behaviour (DBT) therapy techniques.
