I am a clinical psychologist with experience across a wide range of populations. I have worked with first responders, such as police officers, firefighters, defence personnel, and hospital staff, as well as with patients in urgent need of mental health support. I have worked in private practice and governmental positions (up to senior positions). I have engaged in many training events and am knowledgeable about several current treatment approaches. Over the years, I have developed a broad understanding of various mental health conditions.
I have experience in significant areas covered in the DSM-5, such as: Anxiety, Trauma and Stressor-Related, Depressive, Bipolar, Schizophrenia and Psychotic Disorders. recently I have invested in understanding Adult ADHD, the Brain-Gut connection and how medical health interact with psychology, such as IBS.
My training record includes training in a number of significant intervention methods. I do not believe in a "one size fits all" approach. More important is becoming familiar with your specific needs and tailoring interventions to those needs.
