I’m particularly passionate about men’s mental health, perinatal mental health and supporting new dads as they transition to parenthood. More generally I enjoy working with adults of all ages and genders who might be struggling with a range of challenges including anxiety, depression, stress, chronic illness, as well as parenting and relationship difficulties. I am committed to providing compassionate, trauma-informed and evidence-based support to my clients. I've recently expanded my practice hours and so have some immediate availability for new clients. My therapeutic approach is informed by elements of Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Mindfulness Based therapies, Dialectical Behaviour Therapy and Schema Therapy.
I approach therapy with non-judgment, compassion, humour and warmth, valuing my clients as experts in their own experiences. I aim to work collaboratively and take a holistic approach, taking into account biological, psychological, and social factors to meet my clients' needs.
