About
I work with adults to support them with a range of issues relating to identity, mood, anxiety, emotional regulation and interpersonal issues. Using a developmental focus, I work with people to consider how challenges have developed and where they want to be in the future. A key part of my practice is affirming people's identities, whether this relates to neurodiversity, gender, sexuality, relationship types, race and/or other factors. This ensures that we build towards goals that are determined by the person and align with who they are.
I strive to create an environment that is collaborative, affirming and empowering. I draw on a variety of therapeutic approaches and have a strong interest in Schema Therapy and EMDR as I have seen how helpful these approaches have been for people. They allow people to heal from their past, rather than simply addressing surface issues.
Life can be complex and finding it challenging is a part of being human. Please contact me if you would like to discuss your challenges and see if we would be a good fit to create positive change together. I also provide adult assessments for Autism, ADHD, cognitive ability and learning difficulties.
