I work with people to help improve their psychological well-being. There may come times in life where we feel a sense of getting stuck, where our life's map going forward seems out of touch with our every-day experiences and feelings. At these times it can greatly help to have an ally who can genuinely listen, understand and accept things as they are in the life and experiences of another. This secure feeling of support can give individuals space to pause, breathe out and discover time to collaboratively seek for tools, insights and understandings with which to help clarify and calibrate their greater life's map.
I coordinate with people through a therapeutic process of listening, discussing and reflecting together in a way that respects every individual's autonomy and fundamental right to be themselves. Ultimately I assist people in their own journey of building sense of self, self-awareness and self-empowerment.
I understand the importance of feeling comfortable and secure. I am very welcoming to anyone to reach out and contact me freely and without obligation for an initial chance to talk, inquire or simply be heard with respect and confidentiality regarding anything they want to know more about. I consult both in-person at Therapeutic Axis in Glebe and online.
