I work with people to help improve their psychological well-being. There are times when life can feel like an impossible place to live, or where life's map looking forward seems out of touch with our current experiences. At these times I will be an ally who can genuinely listen and build understanding to assist with making sense of experiences of life. This support can give us space to pause, breathe out and find opportunities to discover tools, insights and understandings with which to help clarify and calibrate for everyone's own unique views of life's map.
I coordinate with people through a therapeutic process of listening, discussing and reflecting together in a way that respects every individual's autonomy and fundamental right to be themselves. Ultimately I assist people in their own journey of building sense of self, self-awareness and self-empowerment.
I understand the importance of feeling comfortable and secure.
